Raised as one of five siblings in Llanrheadr, Dyffryn Conwy, Iwan Charles now lives in Bethesda with his partner Mari, and their two children. He graduated from Bangor University (Many years ago!) and has since enjoyed a professional career in acting. He was nominated for a BAFTA for his portrayal of DYFRIG DODDS in the series EMYN ROC A RÔL - for which he learned to play the guitar! He also plays the drums and has a passion for physical theatre.
